ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Tutoring: Work one-on-one with a student in any particular subject.  Training is provided.  Tutoring opportunities are available from one to three times per week, an hour-and-a-half per session.

CAREER EXPLORATION

Junior Teacher: rising 11th or 12th grade high school Breakthrough students can teach a class or serve as a teaching assistant over the summer.

PROJECTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE

Summer Program Set-Up Day: Help us set up the summer program site for the arrival of our students! Paint posters, organize supplies, arrange classrooms, and help prepare to welcome our wonderful scholars.

Office Projects: A range of administrative projects arise for which we need additional hands including mailings for families, newsletter distribution, and organizing portfolios of student work to share with interested visitors and supporters.

EVENTS

Volunteers: Assist with set-up, clean-up, serving, or even babysitting for events such as celebration.
